Privacy Policy for Progress AI

Effective Date: November 26, 2025
Progress AI (the “App”) is a mobile application owned and operated by ViralBite LLC (“ViralBite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Progress AI mobile application and related in-app services.
If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Progress AI mobile app on iOS and any future mobile platforms we may support. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that may link to or integrate with Progress AI.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide to Us
We may collect the following information when you use the App:
Account Information

  • Email address

  • Display name or username (if you choose to provide one)

  • Authentication information (such as credentials used to sign in or tokens from “Sign in with Apple” or “Sign in with Google”)

Profile, Fitness & Demographic Information
As part of onboarding and personalization, you may provide:

  • Sex / gender (e.g., male, female, prefer not to say)

  • Age (or age range)

  • Height and weight

  • Main goals (e.g., lose weight, build muscle, stay healthy, get toned)

  • Desired transformation intensity (e.g., subtle improvements, noticeable progress, complete transformation)

  • Obstacles to progress (e.g., staying motivated, not knowing how to start, diet & nutrition, being too busy, injury or pain, something else)

We may also collect other information you choose to share with us about your fitness history, preferences, and current routines.
Body Photos & Progress Content
To provide body analysis and transformation previews, the App allows you to capture or upload images of your body. This may include:

  • Initial “before” photos or scans

  • Progress photos over time

  • AI-generated “after” or transformation images

These images are stored in your account and are used solely to provide you with App features such as body analysis, visual progress tracking, and personalized recommendations.
In-App Activity & Check-Ins
We may store information about your activity in the App, such as:

  • Streaks and daily/weekly check-ins

  • Completion of workouts, plans, or tasks

  • Progress notes or other content you choose to log

Communications
If you contact us (for example, via email or in-app support), we may collect the information you provide, including your contact details and the content of your message.
b) Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:
Device & Technical Information

  • Device type and model

  • Operating system and version

  • App version and installation information

  • Language and region settings

  • Anonymous identifiers associated with your device or app installation

Usage Data

  • Screens and features you interact with

  • Timestamps of usage and session duration

  • General app performance and interaction patterns

Log & Diagnostic Data

  • IP address at time of connection (for security, logging, and fraud prevention)

  • Crash reports, performance logs, and diagnostic information

We use analytics and crash reporting tools to help us understand how the App is used and to improve reliability.
No GPS-Level Location
The App does not request or use precise GPS location. We may infer general location (e.g., country or region) from technical information such as IP address for fraud prevention, localization, and analytics.
c) Information from Third-Party Sign-In & Services
Third-Party Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive limited information from those providers, such as:

  • A unique identifier associated with your account on that service

  • Your name and/or email address (where you grant permission)

We use this information only to create and maintain your Progress AI account.
Service Providers & Infrastructure
We may use third-party services such as cloud hosting, databases, analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management (for example, Supabase or similar database providers, Firebase or similar analytics/crash tools, and RevenueCat for subscription entitlements). These providers may process limited personal information on our behalf under contracts that require them to protect your data.
AI Providers
To generate body analysis and transformation previews, we send body images and related prompts to AI providers (for example, Google Gemini and related Google AI services). We configure these services, where possible, so that user content is not used to train or improve public models. We do not authorize AI providers to use your identifiable body photos for their own advertising or independent purposes.
d) Payment & Subscription Information
All in-app purchases and subscriptions for Progress AI are currently handled through the Apple App Store. Apple acts as the payment processor and may collect and process your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive limited information from Apple and our subscription management partner (RevenueCat) such as:

  • Confirmation that a purchase or subscription was completed

  • Product type, duration, and expiration status

  • Anonymous or account-linked identifiers needed to manage your access to premium features
     

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide and operate the App
    To create and manage your account, authenticate you, provide body scans, transformation previews, workout and habit features, and other core functionality.

  • Personalize your experience
    To tailor recommendations, programs, and content based on your goals, preferences, and progress.

  • Run AI-powered features
    To analyze your body photos and generate transformation images or insights, using AI services as described above.

  • Track your progress
    To maintain streaks, check-ins, history of progress photos, and in-app achievements.

  • Improve the App and our services
    To analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, optimize performance, develop new features, and better understand how people use Progress AI. We may use aggregated or de-identified data for these purposes.

  • Communicate with you
    To send you service-related messages such as account notices, changes to the App or this Policy, and responses to your support requests. Where permitted, we may also send you optional tips, product updates, or offers that you can opt out of.

  • Safety, security, and legal compliance
    To protect the security and integrity of the App, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

We do not use your body photos or other sensitive fitness data for third-party advertising.

4. How We Handle Body Photos & Sensitive Fitness Data

Body images and certain fitness data (such as weight, goals, and progress photos) can be considered sensitive information. We treat this data with extra care:

  • Purpose limitation: We use your body photos and related data only to provide features like body analysis, transformations, and progress tracking, and to maintain your account.

  • Storage: Body photos and AI-generated “after”/transformation images are stored as part of your account for as long as your account remains active, unless you delete them earlier.

  • Deletion:

    • When you delete body photos or progress images in the App, we aim to remove them from our active systems within a reasonable period.

    • When you delete your account, we delete your body photos and transformation images from our active systems and storage. We also delete any remaining copies of these photos within 7 days after your account deletion.

  • No public display: We do not publicly display your body photos or progress images to other users without your explicit, in-app consent.

  • AI providers: We configure AI services, where possible, so that user content is not used to train publicly available models. We do not authorize AI providers to use your body photos for their independent marketing or advertising.

Internal access to this data is limited to personnel and systems that need it to operate and improve the App.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: To provide and operate the App and services you request.

  • Legitimate interests: To maintain and improve the App, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our legal rights, where these interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.

  • Consent: For certain optional features (for example, capturing body photos, optional marketing communications), where required by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time through the App or by contacting us.

  • Legal obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
     

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information in the following limited ways:

  • Service Providers
    With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, subscription management, and AI processing. These providers are permitted to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and are required to protect it.

  • Business Transfers
    In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or a portion of our assets. If such a transfer affects your information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure the new entity honors this Privacy Policy or provide notice of material changes.

  • Legal and Safety
    Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

    • Comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process

    • Protect the rights, property, or safety of ViralBite, our users, or others

    • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

7. Your Choices & Controls

Account Information
You can access and update certain account details directly in the App.
Photos & Progress Content
You may delete body photos, progress images, and other logged content from within the App. Deletion will remove them from your account and our active systems within a reasonable period, subject to the 7-day window noted above for account deletion.
Notifications
You can manage push notifications via your device settings and any in-app preferences we provide.
Permissions
You can disable access to your camera, photos, and other device features at any time in your device settings. Some features of the App may not function properly without these permissions.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App and related services.

  • Account & profile data: Kept for the duration of your account and deleted when you delete your account, subject to limited retention for legal or security reasons.

  • Body photos & transformation images: Kept for the duration of your account. We delete these from our active systems when you delete your account, and any remaining copies are removed within 7 days.

  • Activity data (streaks, check-ins, progress logs): Retained while your account is active and deleted when your account is deleted.

  • Logs & analytics data: Retained for a limited period necessary for security, diagnostics, and aggregate analytics, and then deleted or anonymized.

We may retain certain information if necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including:

  • Transmission of data over secure (HTTPS) connections

  • Storage with reputable cloud providers

  • Access controls to limit who within our organization can access personal data

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s & Teens’ Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

  • If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 13.
Users aged 16 or older should ensure they have permission to use the App if required by local law or their parent/guardian.

11. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. These locations may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
Where required, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable law.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to:

  • Access or request a copy of certain personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal information

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You can exercise some of these rights directly through the App (for example, through the in-app Delete Account feature). You may also contact us using the details in Section 13, and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.
California and similar jurisdictions
We do not sell or “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

13. Account Deletion

You can delete your Progress AI account directly from within the App (via the account or settings section, where available). When you do so:

  • We delete your account-linked data (including body photos, progress images, streaks, and logs) from our active systems.

  • Body photos and transformation images are also removed from our storage within 7 days after account deletion.

  • We may retain limited information, where necessary, for legal, security, or anti-fraud purposes, and only for as long as required by law.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice within the App or by other reasonable means, as required by law.
Your continued use of the App after any changes become effective will signify your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy. 


Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors an customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much much more.
